Land, water and responsibility

I live, raise my family, play and work as a white settler in Tkaronto, between the Don and Humber Rivers, on the traditional territory of many nations and lands covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. I benefit from ongoing colonialism. Acknowledgement is not repair; it is part of an ongoing responsibility to this land, its waters and Indigenous sovereignty.
